I think they probrably still do, but it is pretty marginal these days. Going back a few years their coverage was much better, but the others have caught up a lot since then.

My first phone was on one2one that was the worst network on earth

this is my phone
Can't remember if this is a 3310 or 3330 under the paint...[/img]

Do you always bloody correct me
Your probably right. -
Hardcoreruss was right, it is called a PAK code, it stands for Porting Authorisation Code. This is the code number you need to port your mobile number across to a new service provider.
The PUK code is your Personal Unblocking Key, whick you need to unlock your phone if you enter the wrong SIM number on 3 consecutive times. The PUK code has absolutely nothing to do with porting your mobile number.
Time to look smug Russ
Thats the second time this week Russ that you have let people think you were wrong when in fact you were right all along. You need to be more confident and assertive. Even if you have no bloody idea what you are talking about, make it sound like you do.
It works for me, I have no idea what I am talking about half the time -
I sit corrected
Stands to reason as I have never had my
number changed except for the transfer from analog to digital
many moons back.
This is mine. I can't remember the model but it's almost
2 years old. I wifi connect it to my PDA for GPRS. GPRS2
is out (4Mbit/sec) so I will have to upgrade shortly I guess.

Do you guys have a video mobile phone network in the U.K.
We have "3" but it's not reliable. I had a trial phone and half
the time you could not make a live video call, just send
pre-recorded messages. That sux imo. I need full coverage. -
Yes, ours is 3 as well. Don't know what the coverage is like. I have not got one because PDA functionality is more important to be than video calls, particularly if you don't know anyone else with a video phone.

I got a Nokia 6340i phone last year and it's the biggest piece of junk I ever had. I see other people using their phones in places I can't because I have no signal. I can't count how many times people ask me why I didn't answer my phone and I have to tell them because my phone didn't ring. Sometimes I won't get a notice I have voice mail until a day later.

I sell wireless phones for a living, I have the LG 4400 through Verizon and it's decent but I like many of the phones offered through AT&T and T-Mobile which is who I sell for but I really love Verizon's coverage!

The reasons why I blame the phone and not the service is:
1. I didn't have this much trouble with my old Ericson 1228
2. My wifes Motorola 120t doesn't have this much trouble and we are on the same service plan.
I realize there are time when you are out of the service area but when my wifes phone works and the my phone doesn't and we are standing next to each other I have to say it's my phone. -

My favorite phone ever was the T24. Still have it but the
battery life was just so poor I changed quickly.
@ Stiltman
I thought all modern digitals were tri-band. My last 4 were anyway.
Anyone use CDMA and happy with it? -

Hooray! My new Nokia 6230 arrives tomorrow. I've also ordered a 256MB MMC card (PQI) for it, a data cable and an MMC card reader for my PC so I can quickly transfer MP3s over.

I got one of these a month or so ago....
SPV E200 bluetooth (whatever the frig that is), camera (nice) and more importantly (for me, anyway) just like using a computer/WinXP.
Pretty pleased with it too

Thanks pyrate83. Where I'm at, CDMA is
the one to choose if you need to chat in the
country as well as the city.
Do you know the max transmission in miles
or kilometers of an aveage hand held CDMA phone?
@Will Hay
Nice phone. I like some of the big screens that
are out now. My contract ends in November so
I'll be considering the SPV M1000 -
It is nice, and I forgot the fact I can transfer video clips directly to it of my young children and watch all day at work.
Showing a photo of your family is great, but there's nothing like footage.tgpo, my real dad, told me to make a maximum of 5,806 posts on vcdhelp.com in one lifetime. So I have.
