Once you have burned a DVD, how do you validate it?
I am using DVD-lab Pro to author DVDs. It has the ability to validate, either by reading all sectors, or by comparing the DVD contents to the files used on your PC. However, not everybody will want to purchase such as application just to check any DVDs they create.
A search of this web site did not show any utilities that could be used for DVD validation. In the hopes that I have missed something, I am asking the community for advice.
Thank you.

I don't know about DVD-lab Pro, but Nero has a "verify written data" checkbox in the burn window. I would think most DVD burning apps have it built in.

If you download nero, there is a seperate program that comes with it called Nero CD/DVD Speed. The program can do a scandisc on your disc and report any unreadable areas. Even though I don't use Nero to burn DVDs its a great way to check them.
