Contact supermediastore and tell them what happened. They seem like a fair bunch.
My vote is cast for Rima. It's essentially where I buy all of my DVD-Rs. -
I would also say Rima. Rima does have the cheapest prices on TYs. Also they are pretty friendly.
-
Once again:
You are NOT buying FROM Ebay...you are buying from a person or company who sells on Ebay. -
Meritline. Much better selection of branded media than Rima.

I use rima.com because they have the best price and stock availability on Taiyo Yuden discs. But supermediastore.com and allmediaoutlet.com are fine in my book -
Newegg sucks, too expensive and they dont even have shit i want. Their harddrives are way too expensive especially. I can get a 250gb hdd for 149 dollars, i forget what it is on there.
I shop Rima and Meritline. Never had a problem with either, but rima shipped mine fedex and had some 3rd party courier deliver them, called me to make sure i was home and was pretty annoying when he showed up to give me my taiyo cdrs.
Im currently waiting on some blanks from meritline, taking ups some 5 days to get it here from california. Havent they heard of drop shippers? -
No naked geek jokes? I thought I'd never see the day.
Sorry Craig. Turns out you mentioned naked geek.
eBay is no good for DVDRs and buying media there is asking for trouble. I am talking about no-name or half-name media sold by stores, not branded media resold by someone which can be ok (I have sold media I bought mistakenly for a good deal).
RIMA is very good.
NewEgg is good too but has a weird selection.
Allmediaoutlet is so-so.
SuperMediaStore prides themselves on customer service so you should definitley contact them. -

Moloko_Plus, are you like down on the world or just having bad luck?
I bought from Rima several times and no such thing happened to me yet, same UPS driver as always at my house. Fedex too, but I think rima used UPS. All the orders I make the only drivers ever delivering to me are my normal UPS and Fedex people, except for the Thomas register of american manufactorers, they used some other trucking service to deliver the 200 pounds of books in about 7 large heavy boxes!
If you know of any better place than Newegg.com for hardware please tell me!! I bought several thousand dollars worth of stuff from Newegg.com now and never had a complaint yet with them. Always shopping around, but never can beat newegg on much. I am even setup with some of the bigger wholesale distributors and I can't get any cheaper than newegg in low volume. Only if I buy 100 of one item at a time or more. I build alot of systems, do alot of repairs and upgrades, but I never need 100 of anything in stock!
Prices and hardware are great, free shipping on most the stuff I order, and the only thing I ever had a problem with was a shuttle mother board. I bought 2 system boards for myself but only built one system, a few months latter I built the second system and the shuttle board was dead, I contacted them, they rma'd it no problem. Almost a year latter but not quite, that second shuttle board died for no reason while doing a case change, I contacted them and they Rma'd that one too!! Was actually over a year since I had bought the first shuttle board when they did the rma on the second one. I can't complain about service like that. And that AK35 shuttle board being bad was not their fault, they just sell em, they don't make em. Now my kid has a newer and better shuttle system board that runs a faster CPU and such so I even came out ahead paying the return shipping of a few bucks.
Newegg has alot of sales, the other day Ritek 8X printable DVD +r were $30 for a 50 pack free shipping. Sale is over now I think the price is $33.
They didn't sell Ritek DVDs when I bought my last 100 of 4x riteks, those I bought at rima.com. I'd say check out newegg.com and see what they have and compare to rima.com. I've liked rima the best for disks so far, but now that newegg is selling riteks I may buy disks there when I buy other hardware, just depends what they have and what I am wanting at the time.
Also I bought from Shop4tech.com also without problems several times, but it's been awhile since I ordered there, rima came out cheaper when comparing my orders last few times for disks and cases. Free shipping on some deals at shop4tech, but lower prices at rima. By the time I figured in the shipping charges at rima they were still a bit less expensive than shop4teck even though they had free shipping. So compare the total price you'll be billed, not just sale price for the item your buying or fall for the free shipping at higher prices trick.
I agree though, you should Contact supermediastore and tell them what happened, they may take care of you on it. No ones perfect, everyone screws up sometimes and we all hate it when it happens to us, but it's gonna happen eventually anywhere if you place enough orders sooner or latter.
As much as I do like newegg and they haven't screwed up any of my many orders yet, I know it will happen eventually! Probaly when I most need the item too, but it's gonna happen anywhere you go sooner or latter and it's how they correct the problem that's gonna count really.
Course when it's the first order at a new store, well it really seems worse then!! -
I have purchased over 600+ DVD-R's from Supermediastore, and out of the orders have had no problems from them. I know some folks have had issues with them. I enjoy doing business with them. I also have had good experiences with both Newegg and Rima as well.

I`ve bought a few items from Newegg...Never had a problem,
and they take PayPal to boot!
They get my vote...

Contact supermediastore. Call or e-mail. They've always been very helpful. They have guarantees on RITEK media too, this should be covered.

I only use Newegg for buying computer stuff online. Never had any problems with their Media or anything else.

Every store has some issue.
What can make a store outstanding is how it fix the problem.
I love www.supermediastore.com
Not only have great experience but also friendly people to fix my problem.
I'll stay with supermediastore.com -
Rima all the way. Top notch staff and quick order processing every time I've used them (more than 5 orders). YMMV.
