Movies that I have had problems with: Star Wars: Episode 1, Trigun DVD 1, Bastard DVD(Domestic and not import)
I have used DVDDecryptor to take the movies off the DVD to HDD.
To convert I used Flask with the bbMPEG addon.
I have noticed the same results with all of the movies.
I am taking the vobs and converting them to VCD compatible MPEG 1 files.
For the most part the sound is way off and not in sync with the video. The video is usually shown and you hear the sound a while after the video is shown.
I tried to line up the sound and audio with iFilmEdit and used TMPGenc to take apart as well as merge the audio and video.
Has anyone come across this problem before?
Does anyone know how to test and see if the video is playing at the same frame rate as the audio?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hrm....smartripper automatically processes multiangles for you...but for DVDDecryptor, u need to goto options and enable multiangle processing...i'm guessing that's wut's causing audio outta sync.
also, sometimes a movie's outta sync cuz some frams r lost...so u can use inverse telecine to get the 24 fps u want and bring the video in sync with the audio -
i remember when i first started creating vcds with flaskmpeg & bbmpeg plugin the result would always have some degree of async. my best advice is to encode video & audio seperately, or better yet use a different method

Yes BBmpeg is not the best encoder in the net...i sugest u use Panasonic Mpeg Encoder Plugin or LSX MPeg Enocder Plugin

What is this telesync and how do I use it? I thought it was 29.97 frames I wanted to acheive for audio and video. I just started doing this not too long ago.
