    After doing a full dvd rip with dvd decrypter. Which is the best way to convert the files to avi.

    I'll go for AutoGk as well. I can use Gordian Knot (the unautomated version), but to be honest my efforts do not look better than with AutoGk. Factor in that doing it manually takes more time (for me) and that there is inevitably hair pulling, swearing and much confusion makes it a no brainer....
