Don't see why you call it a flaw in SP2 since it affects prior versions of Windows as well. It's more a flaw with Windows not SP2, and I'd say it's relatively minor since it requires active user participation.

If you have a good software firewall... say Kerio... and make good use of Adaware, Spybot and some antivirus software do you really need SP2... any other advantages of it.
