    I'm trying to encode an AVI file into VCD or SVCD, I've tried both ways, and all the program does is create the elementary audio-less video file, not the final .mpg file for burning. I checked all my parameters and it looks like it should finish it's job. Any ideas?

    What format is the audio stream of the AVI?

    Nothing extraordinary there. Maybe the log can shed some light on this. (Just making sure: you did wait for ffmpegX to say "Finished", right?)
