  1. I just made a dolby 5.1 audio track but it is in .ac3 format... will tmpgenc allow me to join that file with the video of a vcd? Will virtualdub? Is there anyway of playing this .ac3 file to hear how it turned out on my PC?

    I used SOnicFoundrySoftEncode 5.1

  2. You can put the ac3 on an avi, but not a mpeg as is my understanding...

Use vdub to add it on

  3. Do you have an SPDIF/AC3 capable sound card. If you do then yes you can hear it. Mux it with a video and playback using a Software DVD player using Digital Out or AC3 playback.
