I found some patch to increase quality for the PV-231 in this site:

A friend of mine tells me that there are other patches to do better vcd quality capture on the web but he forgets the web links.

Anyone say these links?

I want say also if for you PV-231 is the best vcd encoder card in real-time and if for you the quality is really near vcd quality created by Tmpgenc from an avi video.
