  1. Hello friends,
It been along time since I have been on here, but I have a question for anyone that can help. First off let me say I did a search and came up empty, so If this has been answered before, I apoligize in advance.

Here is the situation... I play in a band, and would like to have a CD for record companys to listen too in a stand alone player, as well as on the same CD be able to play a LIVE video from our band on there DVD player. I have seen it done with todays bands, and want to learn how to do it for ours.

Again I searched for some info before posting but came up empty.

Thanks for any and all comments,

if you put the video in .mpg format, and the player can read it, you could make a CD-Extra. in audio players, it plays like a normal disc. in a cd-rom, only the data will show up.

and I imagine that, if your player will play raw mpeg files on a cd (like my Apex 1010W), then you could include the video.

  7. Just so I understand all of this, I can do all of this on a regular CD-R, and just make the video to S/VCD and add audio tracks? And this will work on both regular CD palyers, and DVD players. Obviously the car CD palyer will only play the audio tracks.

Thanks for all your help guys, that is why I come on here.

I made one a couple of years ago and some players will not recognize the disc or give an error.

Or you could make a CD Extra disk. This would play the WAV as audio cd in a hi fi system, and the video could be plaed on a PC. Dont think it would work in a DVD player though.

  10. Well I have made a few thus far w/ fireburner, and VCD easy. You seem to have to put the video first, then the audio tracks. What is a bummer is you have to skip the video tracks to get to the audio on a regular CD palyer. Does anyone know of a solution to this? I would be alot easier for the lazy people or should I say the technologically challenged to go " hey, how come the first 2 tracks dont play...haha"

If anyone has gotten a solution to this new problem, I am all ears? Thanks again people for all your help.
