  1. I've ripped both Hellboy & Underworld UR to my HDD. When i listen to the vob file on the HDD the audio is the director's commentary. I've used the latest version of dvd decrypter. any ideas??

    Thanks For all replies

  2. Hi rwh57.

If by listening to the VOB files you mean viewing each VOB file separately, then that would explain the problem.
The information about what audio stream to play by default is contained in the IFO files.

To view the files as they were intended to, select the VIDEO_TS.IFO one.
(in WinDVD, select "Play From Folder" and select the "VIDEO_TS" one).

  3. How would one then burn the files just ripped by dvd decrypter if the audio has the director's commentary only??

  4. If you did not select for DVD Decrypter to exclude all the audio streams but the director's commentary, the VOB files should contain the other available streams.
The IFO files are the ones telling what audio stream to play by default, so if you play the VOB files separately, they will probably not play the right one (in your case the director's commentary is played).

You'd need to burn all the files, including the IFO and BUP ones.
That is, if you ripped all the files with Decrypter (as described here) and not just the movie title files.

If these files do not require compression, you can burn them with Nero (guide here).
If they do require compression you can use DVD Shrink to transcode them: http://www.dvdshrink.info/guides.php
... and then brun them with Nero or DVD Decrypter (if you chose "ISO Image" as target device).
