Ok I have this problem with nero when burning. SCSI/IDE Command aborted
This is what I have read from neros site on the problem.
http://www.nero.com/en/helptool/229.htm
This awnser in particular I think may be my problem.
"Please check if there is a program accessing the burner. Please deactivate the option switch off the automatic to be deactivated for the drives. In particular if the error message only occurs actually during the burning process and not during the simulation."
That is exactly what happens it works during simulation but gives me the error when I actually write.
I don't think it is the automatic to be deactivate thing as I have XP.
I am on Xp SP1. I am using an NEC ND-1510A inside a Bytec external enclosure connected with USB 2.0
So what could be the problem? What other programs could be accessing my burner? Could it be the Safely Remove Hardware program that XP uses to determine if you can safely remove the hardware?
Thanks guys.
