As I have been posting, I've been having problems with ElBy's CloneDVD.For the past week, or, so, it's been producing coasters on 3 different media brands. I used a trial version of a different program, and, that worked, producing a back up of a portion of a dvd CloneDVD din't work on. So I d/l and installed the latest (last?) version of CloneDVD, (2.4.3.1) Trying it out, using the two channel audio settings for english, no subtitles, it produced a coaster that played. The coaster seemed to have all the video files, but after the into, and, the menu, there was no sound.
Is my problems with 2.4.3.1 the settings I selected, or...
Also, my orginal version was 1.1.6.1, I have found what appears to be a in between version (1.3.1.0) I haven't "unpacked" it as of yet; does anyone have any expereince, knowledge of this version?
    Thanks

  2. I am sure your DVD does have audio....use your remote to select the 2nd audio track.

If you do not select the default audio track in CloneDVD it will appear that you don't have audio....in fact you do and must use the remote to select the audio track.

CloneDVD will not remap the Audio.

  3. Just as a test try DVDShrink which is a free program to test your backup's. If it also produces an audio free copy then something else is wrong with your system.

Regarding your question.. .both Version 1 and Version 2 of CloneDVD has performed well for me.

As NY Player denoted, make sure you pick at least one audio track to encode
