Went into Blockbuster today to see what's worth renting. I decided to ask they guy (He knows me) what they did with all they DVD cases that the DVDs come in. He said we through them out (I knew that cause I surfed their dumpter once). I asked if I could possibly get them before they threw them out. He said sure, as he pointed to about 200 stack in the corner. I walked out with at least 100..Boy is Mrs, Stiltman gonna be pissed as I slowly take over the entertainment shelves with DVD cases

my wife managed a blockbuster a few years ago. she says it should be fairly easy to get cases especially if you're a good customer and know the staff. game cases too.

I hate DVD and CD cases. They take up too much room and are hard to thumb through. I've been given cases like the ones you can buy by the case at CompUSA. They sit high on a shelf. Every now and the I give some away. Media disks I keep in albums, data disks are cateloged and kept in a DataBase rack.
Big Government is Big Business.. just without a product and at twice the price... after all if the opposite of pro is con then wouldn’t the opposite of progress be congress? -

I get my cases from Hollywood Video. The only artwork sleeves they throw out are the cardboard DVD cases. Those cheap s**t cases suck and don't always fit right. Now they are moving to a new style of case that is sold at regular retail stores. Looks like the traditional jacket, but if you look at the snap area where the case opens, in the center are some holes. When you open the case you can see tiny holes in a straight line, under the disc, to the spine of the jacket. The new theft device slides in and locks to the top part of the jacket. Funny thing is you can put it next to the back of a strong & large speaker and it will pull the rental store's security device out for you. -
ah, so thats what i see behind the counter, my aunts friend is the manager of the blockbuster i go to, maybe ill try and get some dvd and gamecube cases. 8)
but they actually just throw them out? they should at least try and make some money from them, put them in a big box and put it on ebay :P . or they keep them in the normal cases, instead of the stupid blockbuster cases, i hate them, especially when i buy movies preused there :P
