I have a Pioneer DVR-105. However, unlike a lot of the posts i've seen in this forum, my writer was not packaged by Cendyne (or whatever). It was packaged by LaCie. I went to Pioneer's site and got their latest firmware update for this writer. When I use it, as soon as it gets to the internal flashing part, it says, "Failed to return to the normal mode" and then gives an error and aborts. My current firmware revision is 1.21. I believe the latest for this writer is 1.33. Am I using the wrong program or am I using it in the wrong way?

I worked it out. My VIA IDE Utility was interfering with the flashing process.
