  2. I'm running SP2 on my computer without any problems. I did a fresh install though, but I did upgrade it on 2 other machines. Out of the 4 systems I've put SP2 on none has had any problems. I'm not a fan of Microsoft but I think they are getting a bad rap with the supposide SP2 making some programs not work anymore. The majority of the programs on the list are because of the built in firewall, any firewall would cause the same problems if not configured correctly. Anyways overall I think SP2 is pretty good. It's going to help alot of the noobs out there from running stupid programs. IE actually puts up a window now asking you if you are sure you want to run EXE files when a webpage tries to install there crap (ie. dialers). Some of the unnecessary services (ie. Messenger) is also defaulted to disabled now. Plus the TCP/IP has been limited to 10 connections per port, so if a noob gets infected with a trojan or worm it won't spread as quick. For the experience users you're going to want to find the hacked TCPIP.SYS file or your P2P speed might suffer. Finally for the person annoyed with the Security Center always reminding you to turn on your firewall, etc, etc, you can disable the service through administrator tools. Just stop the "Security Center" service, then set it to disable so it doesn't load when Windows starts. Overall a pretty good updrade for the noobs, and for the experience there really isn't any ill effect.
