Hi,
I receive my 500 Prodisc 8X DVD-R Silver Printable (MCC 02RG20) today from meritline, i actually order BeAll 4X DVD-R Silver Printable (G40001),
but lucky meritline was out of stock or other reason, they send me Prodisc 8X indeed.
Lucky they not send me BeAll dvd-r disc, cause i recently find out most of my BeAll dvd-r (silver printable, 500, order last 2 months) backup turn out 'cannot be played' on both Pioneer Player DV-515 & DV-505 about 1 week after i burned the disc, it play just fine after burned, but after 4 or 5 days it start showing pixelness & picture corruption during the menu selection & playback, then another 2 or 3 days it just cannot be played anymore!
my first 200 order of BeAll 4X dvd-r (silver printable) was never had this kind of weird problem.
i have scan the disc using nero cd/dvd speed (surface & file test) both show no error, and can be rip back into my harddrive using DVD Decrypter with no error at all.

i bought a new pioneer DV-270-s dvd player (dvd-r/rw compatible) to test the disc again, and it work.

my question is why my early BeAll disc will play on my old pioneer standalone without a single issue (until now, almost 4 month after burned)
but my recent bought BeAll disc just can't be played anymore after 1 week) ?

My Burn result of Prodisc 8X DVD-R Silver Printable (MCC 02RG20):
1.
Pioneer DVR-106D (Firmware 1.08)
Pioneer DVR-107D (Firmware 1.20)
Both Write at 4X = no problem on playback, test on Pioneer Player DV-515, DV-505, DV-270-s & Asus 616 dvd-rom using windvd 6. no problem ripping all file to harddrive using DVD Decrypter.

2.
Pioneer DVR-107D (Firmware 1.20)
Write at 8X = problem playback at some scene (picture corruption) on Pioneer Player DV-515, DV-505, DV-270-s & can't read at Asus 616 dvd-rom, can't perform ripping using DVD Decrypter.

Software using : Nero Burning Rom 6.3.1.25 Ultra
