i'm spliting AVI files, and virtual dub is reporting at 50fps rendering, it's kindda slow in my opinion, is there any ways to make it faster, while it's working, only 15% of my CPU was used.

try increase the processing priority and split the video to another hd drive. and be sure that you are using direct stream copy under both video and audio.
