  1. I have a 726 MB DivX movie that I would like to put on one CD without losing too much quality. There are no credits or the long opening to crop, so I'm stuck. I need to get the file size down to at least 715 MB and Nero will burn it for me. However, I have no idea of how to go about this. I read somewhere that you can use Virtual Dub to do this, but need the steps or some other suggest. Thanks in advance..

You have to reencode using a lower bitrate or burn onto a 90min CD-R, if your burner support it.

  3. I tried the recommendations, but it failed. After configuring the video and audio as directed, I attempted to save the avi, but received the following message, "you are trying to compress with a hacked compression driver." I selected proceed, but there is no progress from VirtualDub. Any idea what is going on?
