You need to buy a dvd player that has the features to play raw mpg and or avi, check to the left under lists which players can do this. The other choice is a graphics card which has video out.

  3. You could also still make a DVD out of it. Just author it and then use DVD Shrink to make it fit a DVD.

How long is it ? You should be able to fit 2 hours of pretty high quality video on a single sided/single layer disc, and up to 4 hours of better than VHS quality.

johns0 - I have a Panasonic / Sony that does not have the raw feature. only can play mp3.
"The other choice is a graphics card which has video out." So I can play the movie from my computer?

    guns1inger - about 3.5 hrs, I don't want to loose the quality.

Is there a hardware device that play avi/mpg dvd data storage?
