    Wondering if anybody knows of a firmware to adjust the timer settings. I would like a mon-fri setting. The "daily" settings are a little too much. Every weekend I have to remove the disk from the tray. -garman

    I also have a daytek and was wondering if the LiteOn 5001 FW will work since the Daytek is oem'd by liteon and basically the same as the 5001 inside.

    I have the LiteOn5001 - none of their firmware support Mon-Friday recording. Only Once, Weekly, Daily. Sucks.

    That's why I use my Pioneer for Mon-Fri. Plus, the Pioneer has 32 timer slots.
