Need a little help

I'm trying to backup a dvd and I know its not a regular dvd like that can hold 4.7 GB's cause the dvd says its 7.19 GB, so I was wondering how I can shrink this down to fit onto a 4.7 GB DVDR. I have DVD Decrypter but thats about it.

DVD Shrink. Download it, install it, run it.

wash it in hot water and dry on highest setting. that'll shrink it
