Any one here use Columbia HOuse?

I just started a subsription with columbia house and was wondering if any one knew how long it takes for the first 5 dvds to get to your house. (USA)

About 4 business days. We've been with them a long time. We cancel, wait, and they offer a bunch of DVDs for almost free if we join. We rejoin, buy the minimum (3 or 4) and again let it lapse. They send another great offer and we join again We've gotten over a thousand DVDs that way

Columbia House Video? Yeah I used to be a member of them several years back...in fact, thats how I was able to get the entire Lost In Space episodes (the 1965-68 TV series) and took me over 3 years to colelct all the episodes. That was before DVD's became mainstream, all of the LIS eps I gotten were in VHS. And $25 apiece too . But since I loved the original series so much as a kid, it was a worthy collection. But now I am going to back them up to DVD soon so as to preserve my originals.

In fact, I went by the city where Columbia house building is located (in Terra Haute, IN) once....was really awesome.
