I store my DVD backups and home movies in CD/DVD Wallets. Those black zipup wallets with plastic or nylon inserts that hold 24 or so CDs or DVDs. I find these to be a great and compact way to store them. I put my originals up in a hard plastic case for safe keeping. Anyway, the only problem I'm having is how do I label the wallets themselves? For example, I have two with childern movie backups for my 3-year son, one for my movies (e.g., Band of Brothers, LOTR), one for my wife's "chick flicks", one for our movies and one for home movies. That makes five wallets. I haven't found any marker that writes on them or any sticky label that stays on them. Not a biggie ... but I'm wondering if anyone has been successful in labeling them (e.g., Children Videos #1).

I use a wallet for my CDs in the car. I just cut a piece of paper and use scotch tape to stick it to the sleeve in front of the CD.

  3. I don't do many backups of movies - mostly data backups

And I store those with spindles...with clear hub labels

The problem with labelling wallets is that as your collection grows so will your number of wallets. i just store everything in alphabetical order so can track it down easily. they're split in three categories though, TV, Movies, Music.

TV, Movies, Music. But movies is arrange like Scifi, Action, Anmie, Other.

It WAS like a little blockbuster... actually I argue that I had a better selection of good movies then the crappy Blockbuster around me.

I use these sleeves and oversized binders from RIMA:

One such binder can hold somewhere around 200 discs. I just alphabetize all my movies in it. And when I need more room, I will get another 200 disc binder and label it with a sticker that says B or something.

Depends on the movie, clearly its a comedy. Scifi is simply the setting IE thing is making fun of. Same with spaceballs.
