  1. I'm trying to convert an AVI file that I have to MPG but when I use any program like "AVI2VCD" or even "TPMG" (sp??) it will not accept the file.

I came to realize that the file contains compressed audio which can not be read. Is there anyway around this?

    Thanks!

  2. Please help me. TMPG is acting like this isn't a AVI file and it's frustrating.

I can tell you this much about the file.

    It's:

    Audio Codec: WMplug
Video Codec: ffdshow MPEG-4 Video Decoder

You may need to install Windows Media Player 9 Codecs for WMP audio support.

I would also un-install FFDShow and install Nic's Xvid decoder instead >

I experienced nothing but trouble using FFDshow in combination with TMPGEnc.
