No sound when capturing

Hi,

I just acquired "WinFast TV2000 XP Expert" and started capturing with ULead Video Studio 7.

There's sound while I'm capturing, but the captured file has no sound when playing.

I tried DVD and DV capturing.

Help!

Hello,
Go to sound proporties and look at your recording sound level screen. Is the line in selected? You may have it on mic. Check with your capture card manual to see if you need it set it to line in or another designation.

P.S. It's a good sign the sound is present while recording. If it's not in the final file that should mean your soundcard or capture card isn't set up to record it.
