avisynth Help Please

Hello,

Trying to open an avisynth script with virtualdub and am having a problem. Whenever I open any script, virtualdub just disappears. It could be one of the sample scripts that comes with avisynth and I still get the disappearing act. It used to work but something has changed somewhere and I am at a loss. Has anyone else happened upon this problem and fixed it? Thanks for any help!

Start with the basic Version script. If that crashes your system, try to install AviSynth again. Make sure it is the only version on your system.

Thanks for the tips Tommyknocker...I did re-install avisynth and have tried the different scripts that come with the package. Always the same thing happens. The host (virtualdub) just dissappears. I am at a loss!

You can also try to see if you can run a script in TMPGEnc Plus! as well.
