  1. Does resizing with VirtualDub produce less quality results than if you were to resize with TMPGEnc?

  2. I would say the reverse is true. VirtualDub gives superb results when resizing using the precise bicubic setting. I always do that and then frameserve to the MPG encoder.

    I've noticed lately that resizing and resaving to a new file has produced better results than resizing/frameserving with VDub or AviSynth does. Maybe my OS is getting knackered or something and I should format & reinstall everything. I never really noticed it before. Anybody else experience this or am I just going nuts?
