  1. I'm wanting to buy a recorder, but I can't make up my mind between these two. I can't find out much about the RCA except that it also has some picture enhancement features. I'm going to use it for transferring 200+ VHS movies to dvd and some light tv recording. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

  2. I don’t now anything about RCA, but the SONY GX-300 is one of the best DVD recorders money can buy.

  3. I just picked up the RC DRC8005N yesturday at SAM's for $199. I burned 4 home videos and a little DTV to the UNIT. GREAT Quality and features. I also have a JVC that was $299 that is a piece of JUNK.
    So far the RCA look really nice.. And you can't beat the price. In a couple more weeks I'll put a review and rating in the DVD Recorders section.
