Uploading My site?

Ok this is what i have done. I created a layout in photoshop and i sliced what needed to be sliced and i saved it as so. file>save optimized as>index with html and imags selected. Now when i upload index to my server it doenst work. any ideas on what the problem is?

Are you putting the index.html in the root directory?

If it's like my site I have to use .htaccess to have it go to root/catalog/index.html vs. root/index.html.

if you have pro hosting (ie, on a domain name with a paid host) you will most likely have to upload in a directory called 'htdocs' or 'public_html' or something along similar lines to those.

What I have to do is upload the HTML documents to my Public_HTML directory, and modify the HTML document as to where the image documents will be placed.

What doesn't work? File not found error? Page loads but doesn't look right?
