    Gotta love the Chicago gun 'laws.' From what I've been told, it's only illegal to have unregistered firearms in the city limits (police, security and investigators excluded). However, the city has refused to register any new firearms for quite some time now. If you're interested, just get yourself a suburban address.

    Fortunately for me, I moved from Chicago before the current heavy-handed approaches of NYC and DC were implemented there. They must have admired the crime statistics in those cities and decided "hey ...let's try that here" :P But ...that's subject matter for another thread.

    It's the same as the .308

    I wonder which .300 mag he was referring to? Aren't there like a dozen different .300 mag versions?

    Yeah, "Seven point six two by fifty one" sounds cooler anyway

    Remington 700BDL with a thumbhole stock and have it magnaported.
