I am trying to convert from vob files to wmv for playback on a pda. Video setup and quality is fine but procoder cannot find any audio when I select the dvd vob files? I have tried to extract the audio to a separate wav file, but the start point of the video and extracted audio is different. I always get sync probs if I try to adjust the video start position.
Is this normal or am I missing a setting in procoder for the dvd audio?

I am having the same issue (I don't think Procoder is to blame here)...the synch gap is about 6-8 seconds whether its using the original AC3 source or converting it to WAV. Preferably I'd like to keep the AC3 audio preserved in WMV format...My DVD collection is too big and I'd like to compress them to WMV or DIVX and store them on my workstation. Anyone have any suggestions on successfully performing this kind of operation? What do peeps usually use to convert DVDs to either Divx or WMV?
Thanks!
