  1. Hey what is going on. Here is the question which video editor is the fastest and best out there. Right now I am using Studio 8 and it is ok i like on how easy it is to detect scenes then add them to a timeline. I have tried adobe premiere and it is a little harder to understand of course i used it for two minutes and then went to bed.

But my only complaint that studio takes hours and only lets me burn tow hours on one disc. I am curious if there is anthing outthere that is much quicker out there????

Video does take hours and hours by default. It depends on the type of file you're trying to edit, but I've always used VirtualDub (Of the MPEG2 and/or Mod varieties) and then frameserved to TMPGEnc or saved out to AVI.
    If in doubt, Google it.

I have been using Studio 8 for about a year and it has for the most part done what I wanted. I recently purchased and started using Ulead VideoStudio 8. It is 30-50% faster for rendering and in my opinion the resulting video is of a better quality. I also like the large preview window and the ability to render DVD files to a video_ts folder that are larger than what can fit on a DVD. The trial version is fully functional for 30 days. With the competative upgrade VideoStudio 8 cost me $50.
