  1. Hi there,

My first question is , i have a 16x CD Burner, when i used phillips 48x CDRs i had no problem burning at a 16x speed, now i just got SONY CDRs and on the box it said 1-48x, but when i put in a blank disk and try to copy an image Nero will only let me burn at 8x?

Also is there a difference in the quality of how the film will appear on the CDR, i guess what i mean is phillips 48x CDR 700MB any better then sony or Memorex 48x CDR 700MB,

Is there a noticible difference from one brand of CDR to the next as far as quality of the film being shown?

    THANKS

    To my knowledge,

It will only burn at the rated speed of the disc you are copying from.

This is unusual. It might have to do with your burner being compatible with the media. However that is rarely an issue with CDRs. Maybe you got fake media?

No. The movie should look the same. That is unless one of the discs did not burn properly or something.
