Loved that line from the first time I heard it, just too great someone thought to stick it in..

What is your favorite line from the star trek movies
Willtgpo, my real dad, told me to make a maximum of 5,806 posts on vcdhelp.com in one lifetime. So I have. -
Hello,
Let's see:
Out there, that away. (Kirk end of Star Trek 1)
"the needs of the many out way the needs of the few, or the one" Star trek 2
"Row row row your boat" Star Trek 5 - horribly funny!
"The bridge is yours, Mr Troi" Picard to Riker - Star Trek Nemesis.
That's just a beginning.

Shatner spoke it in Generations.

At least he wasn't alone when he died..Didn't he say once "He couldnt die if he was alone"?or something like that?
-
Hello
True, I believe the line was "I've always known I'll die alone" Star Trek 5 (in the 1701 a ten forward to spock and bones). It's sad I know all the Star Trek 5 quotes when I disliked the movie. Maybe that's the very reason why!

Hello,
---Slightly off topic now----
Does anybody know how many French references by or toward Jean Luc Picard were actually made in TNG???? I'm curious because I think I only remember a handful at best.
They did it early on, the flag bit in the ferengi episode in season 1. There was the wine of course. And the trip home after the borg episode best of both worlds.
There was the "frerashaka" song in the disaster episode (apologies to any French speaking person, I don't know how to spell it). And there were very few after that.
It's funny that the French Captain had an English house and Wife in his fantasy in the Nexus in Generations, isn't it??
Kevin
---Anyone who has a difinitive answer please let me know, about the french references that is- I think I covered most of them----Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -

I had always that that when he said "oh my" that maybe he was just surpised he was going to die...Maybe he thought he would live forever?
-
I love Worf's quotes.
"Sir I protest - I am NOT a merry man!"
"Congratulations. You are now fully dilated to ten centimeters. You may now give birth."
"Nice house, Good tea"
Some may not seem funny, but just coming from Worf and in the circumstances, they are hilarious. -

Kevin
P.S Could it be that was when the actor Shatner heard he was out of the next movie (ie First Contact) and said "oh my" to that???Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
"I know this ship like the back of my hand"............BANG!
We'll be right back after these messages from Binford! -
Hey Toolman!
Great avatar!! I live in Plymouth, Michigan which is just west of Detroit. I loved Home Improvement. Did you know most of the local references were accurate? And the sweatshirts he wore were of real colleges? He even wore a channel 7 sweatshirt for our local ABC affiliate WXYZ!

The quotes are OK but how about some errors on the set, like visible camera equipment and the like. My favorite is when Kirk had to fight the Gorn. There was a scene where you see the landscape around the Gorn and he is plainly standing in the middle of a set of tire tracks which must have been there from the crew vehicles. I thought it would have been funny if the Gorn were hit by an old wagon right out of National Lampoon's or something. Probably driven by those damn Metrons
