i was trying to burn a movie and halfway through i got a error message saying parsing ac3 not in stream..........how would i go about fixing this problem...........

Choose a subject that describes your topic. Do not use subjects like Help me!!! or only Problems.
Try to frame your question clearly with details on what you've done. No one here is psychic... what tool? what kind source video? -
What kind of AVI file? There are many kinds. DIVX? XVID?, or one of the other types of AVI?
What you may have to do is strip out the audio and convert to WAV. Virtualdub can do this.
You also didn't say what you wanted to burn it to. If DVD, Select the AVI file and the WAV audio and input to an authoring program, then burn.
As Baldrick says, try to frame your question clearly and it will be much more likely to get a valid response.
