Well that is easily done with any cd/dvd printer. The cheaper printers either print monochrome or give you an option of usually 3 colors. They print that right on the disk.

If you don't want to buy a hardware printer for this then just use clear labels. Just about any online vendor that sells media and labels carries these.

I would also not use the white printable media. The Silver media looks awesome if your doing just text.

  5. You could use one of the other disk labeling systems that just allow printing of one colour.
The likes of staples usually sell them. Advantage is they will print onto any disk not just printable one.
Cant for the life of me think of one of the brand names though.....

  7. I've got a Casio but I wouldn't recommend it for mimicking full-face pit art, as per your example. If you have one you will soon find it's a bitch to use.

You're better off going the clear label route or using silver printable discs. Silver printables have a trippy iridescent surface that looks pretty cool with text or monochrome designs. Depending on how many CD-Rs you plan on putting out, the Casio printer consumables can add up quickly.

An inkjet printer that does CD/DVD would be a better investment IMO.
