    windows security update causing freeze-ups?????

    does anyone have the update number...

    i had trouble with this once before and it worked but i lost what

    update number it was..

    this happens when downloading large files...

    can anyone help me???

    Have you tried uninstalling the update using Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel? Then try running Windows Update again

    I believe it is 811493.

    This update has a history of causing lock-ups and delays.
