Okay, I have been burning my vcds and svcds forever with Nero, but now all of a sudden, I can't get anything except the image recorder. I just did a clean re-install of windows xp, and got all my updates straightened out. Then a few days later I try to install my Nero 5. It seemed to install fine, but when I try to burn to disk, I can't. I have been creating an image with the image recorder, than using Daemon to mount the image, than Clone to burn it! Now I know that there has to be a easier way to do this, but I just wanted to watch the movie! now instead of having to do all this, I just want Nero to work the way that it used to. Help someone, please!

    Peace,

if you have the NERO 5 installed now, uninstall it then use the NERO CLEAN TOOL , after using that then reinstall NERO 5. here's the download for the NERO CLEAN TOOL: http://www.nero.com/us/631940828445001.html

Are you using an OEM version of Nero? Have you recently changed your burner drive?

First of all, what is OEM mean? And yes, I have a new burner now, but when I got the burner, nero was fine. It never had a problem with the burner before. Now, after doing a clean install of xp, Nero won't work the same! Clean tool has not done the trick so far. And does anyone know of a program that is as good as nero? I've been having to create image files and mount them and then copy with clone. I know this is too much - but don't feel like having to figure out another program. If you could suggest one that is "user friendly" I would appreciate it. Thanks!
