  1. Ok...I was going to make myself a nice radiohead compilation the other day and while I was putting it together I had the brainstorm that a few songs would sound kinda nice fading into one another...I started using the ever popular Nero, but you can't preview what you've done unless you burn it to an rw...I don't want to spend THAT much time on it you know?

So I was wondering if anyone knew of a proggy that would do what I want, but with real time preview playback...Someone suggested Sony's cd architect to me, and steinberg wavelab, but I wanted to hear some more suggestions on the matter if possible!

    Thanks.

  2. I do that in Sound Forge all the time. You can use the 'Mix' or 'Crossfade' function under the 'Paste Special' command, depending on what kind of end result you want. And it's a real-time editor, so you can preview any part of the WAV file to your heart's content.

I think Goldwave does the same thing, too...

  3. Would you by chance know if Soundforge supports flac? I ripped all my cd's to flac for some reason and I dont want to have to rip them again....Although, I guess I could convert them to wave...

EDIT: Ok I got the trial version, but I dont know what I'm doing here...how do I do this?

  4. Ok, So I did what I wanted to do with Nero (I just burned to image) and then I played it with Winamp, but as every new track starts there is a little pop...That would be ok if there were silence, but I have a few of the tracks fading into one another and I don't know if this will be present if I burn to cd...I could just burn and test, but I don't really want to waste a cd, you know? Can anyone tell me if what winamp is playing will be in the final product, or if winamp having a little problem...
