I don't know what is wrong but my Mainconcept Mpeg encoder seems to hate MS Office or Office hates my encoder.
When I recently reinstalled my computer, I installed my new Office 2003 and ofcause my Mpeg encoder.
Now my encoder lacks on the sound about half a second for every 10 minutes which means that the sound for the end of any given file starts up to 4-5 seconds before the file ends.
I usually convert Mpeg 1's into DVD to burn it to disc.
The problem is the appearence of both the Mainconcept and my Office 2003. When I completely remove Mainconcept from the computer and reinstall it, it works fine. Right until the moment I open fx Word and Word has to reinstall some elements to it. If I reject the Office repair, Office won't work but my encoder will.
If I agree to fix Office, my encoder will once again lack on the sound.

Anybody else with this problem. I'm getting goddamn tired of software failure because of other software. I can't find any other encoder that works like Mainconcept's Mpeg encoder.

    Hope someone can help.

I would hate to loose VB in Office because I use it very often. The funny part I use every extension in Office available and I didn't have any problems with Office XP, even with standalone VB based extensions.

Maybe I should just loose Office 2003 and install Office XP again

i think 2003 is much better than XP , mostly because outlook 2003 is better than outlook XP ..

i did find out that you can mix 2003 and XP parts
