This is my first post on here, so he this is in the right forum.
Having just bought a standalone DVD Recorder (cheap one - Compacks DVDR), and the start of the football season. I have decided to record the goals from my chosen team throughout the season, and then at the end of the season put them all onto one DVD.
Anyone know what the best way of doing this is?
I have recorded the goals from Saturday and Tuesday.
Then I've used DVD Decrypter to rip the VOB to hard drive.
Next I used Virtual Dub Mod to open the VOB, and then get the right amount of the goals program and saved as an AVI. However 30 secs seem to produce a large file (750MB) which if this is the same every match, will mean it impossible to fit on a DVD at the end of the season, using the DVD Builder in Roxios Easy CD Creator 6.
What I have done so far - is this the best way of doing it?
And
What do I do at the end of the season, what programs are best to do this with to create chapters for say, each month of the season with an avi for each match in each month - or any other method.
Your help will be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Simon
