    Just a tip for those who haven't learned the hard way, always keep your old versions of encoding/capturing programs, just load the new versions in new folders, you will save your self headaches when you find some things don't work like they use to, for instance, the newest version of Vdub will not capture above 352x240 with AIW cards but the old version will, etc.

    I have an AIW card and I can capture at 640x480 or 720x576 using VDub on a Win2k machine. Avery has posted a registry hack on his website in the news section about installing the vfw->wdm wrapper under Win2k. You can see his explanation here:

    If you are not running Win2k then I am a little baffled since VDub doesnt place a 352x240 restriction of video captures. What operating system are you using?
