  1. I'm running the latest version of TDA 1.5 not the dual layer upgrade of 1.6.

    I have encoded 3 video files 352x240 29.97 fps min bitrate 800 max bitrate 2300. AC3 Audio at 192kps.
They load into TDA just fine and seem to author just fine. However once authoring is done I get jerky and glitchy playback from the resulting files. Putting a burned copy in a dvd player results in the picture stretching out fine but much freezing and glitching. The files play fine before hand so I'm assuming it has to be a problem in the authoring stage. Anyone have any idea what is going on here?

  2. I had deleted the original files without testing first ( I was in a hurry and have never had such a problem with it before) so I demuxed the video back from the VOBs with smartripper. First of all smartripper couldn't process the files. Said it couldn't find the key for them. So I ran it through DVD Shrink in movie only mode and then smartripper could demux it. Also noticed that smartripper was listing the files as 352X480 instead of 352X240. TDA has to be screwing up the authoring process. I'll revert to an older version and see what happens. I've done 352X480 with the previous version just fine so I guess I'll try these files with it.
