STMP sever not responding error in outlook express?

I keep getting this error message when trying to send an attachment of 5mb or larger through outlook express:

"You STMP server has not responded in 60 seconds. Would you like to wait another 60 seconds for the server to respond?"



This only happens when trying to send attachemnts over 5mb? I can send others that are smaller? I've even sent them as zip files and they still won't go through?

I would say you're over your filesize limit. If you don't mind me asking, who is your mail provider? 5 MB isn't unheardof for a mail attachment limit, but it's not very common anymore in my experience.

I have comcast....
