this is where I would use my "get a clue line".
and leave the appropriate thread link below.Let me point you in the direction of someone who cares -

But if the finger points up, the link should go above that line. Just a thought....Originally Posted by Doramius

Hi guys!
I'm hoping you can help me. I just purchased my very first CD burner! I'm so happy! It's a Teac CD-W54E, and it records at 4X! I can't believe my luck, I found it at a flea market for $40.00! Yippie!
What I want to do it copy all of those great movies at the rental shop to CDs. I've heard it can be done, and I hope I have the right drive to do it. Could any of you help me with this project? I only rent G-rated movies and documentaries, so I don't think I need to worry about any protection, do I?
Thanks for your help. I'm so excited about this! -
Let me guess....you also want 4 different language subtitles, and you want to improve the quality from the original, and you only have 650MB cds, right?Originally Posted by indolikaa

How did you know that? You are so smart!Originally Posted by tekkieman

Yes, I need to figure out how to put at least four languages on one disc, and more if it's possible. You see, my wife is from Albania and even though I'm an American citizen most of my family came from the old Soviet Union. My dad was a railroad engineer and he married a teacher from Lithuania, so I'll need to put Russian and Lithuanian subtitles on the disc. Did you know that Lithuanian is a descendant of Sanskrit? My mom can actually travel to parts of India and read their writing without too much difficulty. It's so neat!
I've also got a cousin in Kazakhstan who will want a copy of this disc and his wife was the sister of a chieftan in Tajikistan and she never really learned Russian, so I need to add Tajik or maybe even Turkish to the subtitles because she knows enough Turkish to get by. I purhcased some dictionaries that should allow me to try and translate from English into these other languages at least well enough for everybody to understand me. I hope so, anyway. It will be embarrasing if I go to the next family reunion in Rome (my dad picked Rome because it was the most central location to all members of the family, and he really does try to save us money when he plans our travel) and I mistranslated all of this.
The first thing I want to burn is the video of my 2nd cousin's circumcision. Is there a way to put Hebrew subtitles on a disc, because I hear the Hebrew language reads from right to left instead of left to right like most other languages. And I don't want to confuse anybody else so maybe I should make a separate disc just for him. Boy, this is going to take a lot of work, I sure hope you guys have some free time on your hands!
