TSCV (can only make menus from some MPEG files???)

I'm trying to make motion menus with TSCV v0.82r1 (I have gottent this to work in the past). I'm using MPEG1 and MPEG2 files I've made as my source. The problem is that only some of the files (it appears to be random) will make motion menus.

The others, I can see the frames go by in the "MenuGenerator Movie" windows, but my seq.bmp files only show the outline of the frame (or background image) the motion menu frames are all blank/black? Any ideas?

It's odd because some MPEGs work and others don't, the ones I've d/loaded don't work, and the one's I've made do. However, if I re-encode the d/loaded ones in TMPGenc using the standard SVCD template, they still don't work so...

I had a similar problem - i changed the name of the mpgs to something short and simple - i also moved them to the top of the directory in the disk - that seemed to solve the problem
