Hi, I'm from Italy and I capture mpeg video with mpeg-1 hardware based capture device.
I want to create video cd from my ol vhs tapes and I use the provided software MP10 recorder.
In this software I can change various settings such as GOP and P frames.
Since capturing directly with 1150 KB/s, GOP 12 and P frames 3 I obtain a poor quality video with a lot of blockiness during playback.
I usually convert then with maximum quality of my capture box: 3000 Kb/s, gop 15 and P frames 3; then I convert the mpeg video with Tmpgenc in VCD compliant standard format and the result is very well but....Tmpgenc is too slow....
someone can help me to use a high quality fast encoder to convert my mpeg videos to high quality compliant vcd 2.0 files?
I'm sorry for my english. Thank you for your helps!
