  1. Hi,

I am having great difficulty converting nearly any type of video file.

I have tried encoding AVI, d2v/WAV, asf to mpg using TMPGEnc 2.01 and it spits out the following error after about 10 min:

"Read Error occurred at address 0046D164 of module 'TMPGEnc.EXE' with FFFFFFFF"

and also the same error with 'DVD2AVI.vfp' when converting the d2v/WAV on TMPGEnc.

I definately know the problem is within TMPGEnc because I got one of my older VCD movies (the sixth day), I copied the .dat file onto the hard drive and tried to convert it into mpeg using TMPGEnc.

When I made this vcd (the sixth day) a couple of months ago it worked converted fine using TMPGEnc.

So I tried it again and the errors as above came up.
This happens all the time now, and is giving me the shits!

I know I am not the only one who has encountered this problem because there have been several posts similar to mine, but no one has had a direct answer for it.

Please if someone wnows how to fix this can they please speak up.

    thanx.

    hayward

  5. Disable the Directshow in the environmental settings/VFAPI section, if that doesn't work, move it to a higer priority.
