  1. hi all, when capturing using my ati aiw 9600pro i get distortion.

    I have an audigy zs platinum and my settings are set to "audio mix" Line In the audio distorts only in the right side when wearing headphones, theres a flutter or little humming noise

    I've lowered all of my audio options still there is that noise any suggestions pleasse help

  2. I had an old ATI AIW 128 pro 32mb agp card on a windows xp pro system. It had distortion in the audio, basically as if the sound was too loud. Turned out that several sources suggested going into the registry in the ATI software section and set the audio capture value to a much smaller value. I don't remember the specifics, but if this sounds like an option, please let me know and I will dig up the specifics.

  3. thx for the reply....yeah i read sum posts regarding this, i read that if u go into add/remove prog click on ATI MMC XXX and do a repair on it might fix it?

    definately if you can provide me with sum info for the registery it will be great

  4. I am sorry, but I cannot find my notes on that fix. I have sold my old AIW and am getting a TV Wonder Pro next week. When I install it, I will try to recall the settings and get back with you.

  6. It was a AIW 128 pro. I needed to upgrade my video so I bought a ATI 9500 pro. I was going to go with a Compro VideoMate Gold+, but the image was inferiour to the old AIW. So, not being able to pony up the $200+ for newer AIW, I adding the TV pro. With this setup, how much and what do you think I will lose?
